Events calendar Mirepoix

From Friday to Monday, the Fêtes historiques de Mirepoix is a recreation of a rich history, a magnificent setting, breathtaking costumes and motivated volunteers who are the secret behind this festival. Come and discover the medieval atmosphere in the heart of the magnificent city of Mirepoix, with a historical parade, night-time sketches, a medieval craft market, giant wooden games and a presentation of games from yesteryear. The festival closes with a torch-lit parade and a mass in Occitan.

Organized by the Comité des fêtes de Mirepoix, the bandas festival and its travelling brass bands bring this pretty historic town to life in June. Percussions and bass drums echo through the streets, while young and old dance to the sound of trumpets. Throughout the evening, five bandas will parade around the cafés and the Place du Maréchal Leclerc, bringing joy and good humor to all. For one of the highlights of the summer, get together with family and friends to enjoy these festive musical events!

This fair is organized by the tourist office of the Pays de Mirepoix. On this festive day of the Ascension, throughout the day about thirty " producers-craftsmen-brewers-winemakers ", will welcome you to present and taste their products. It is mainly about beers and wines, organic and from Occitania. Do not miss this opportunity to discover and why not buy directly from producers.
