Visit the house of Dr. Sentex in the historic center of Saint-Sever
The Maison du Docteur Sentex is located in the historic center of Saint-Sever. The beautiful mosaics you'll have the honor of walking on as you enter come from a 4th-century Gallo-Roman villa. When they were discovered in 1870, Léopold Capdeville took charge of their extraction and had the floor reconstructed at his home. They covered a long corridor and several rooms. You'll be struck by the richness of the colors, the diversity of the tesserae and the designs.
