Just a few minutes from the beaches and Lac de Léon, Le Domaine du Cayre is one of the very first campsites in the Landes region. Delighting generations of campers in search of authenticity, this former arial is a veritable treasure trove in its own right. Family home, sheepfold converted into sanitary facilities, wine storehouse, hay barn... All of these buildings can still be seen under the hundred-year-old oaks and pines. The reception area houses a refreshment bar where you can enjoy breakfast. In terms of accommodation, note that the 5 gîtes (2 to 4 people) are open all year round.

L'emplacement est spacieux et tout va bien jusqu'à des arrivées tardives vers 22h : réveil en sursaut par les phares d'un camping car passant entre nos vélos et au raz de notre tente avant de manœuvrer en reculant droit sur notre tente que le conducteur n'a pas vue. Nous hurlons : il ne nous entend pas non plus. Avant de réaliser ce qui se passe quand nous venons taper sur sa portière.
Nous sommes assez mécontents que le propriétaire qui est venu placer ce CC n'ait pas signalé notre présence (aucun éclairage sur place). Par ailleurs, l'espace était largement suffisant pour garer ces personnes ailleurs et non à deux mètres de nous !
