Sarrebourg AVF Accueil is an association based in Sarrebourg, Alsace Lorraine Champagne Ardenne. It welcomes new residents to the town and helps them integrate into their new environment. AVF Sarrebourg also organizes friendly events to encourage encounters between newcomers and local residents.

The Town Hall occupies an old building in the center of town. Although many administrative procedures are now handled electronically, the town hall still welcomes residents and visitors alike. Close to the town center, with over 120,000 documents, the library occupies part of the Saintignon mansion, built in the ^18th century. The Pierre Messmer collection, inaugurated in 2009, features a special collection of almost 3,500 documents, some of which are unique, rare and precious, having belonged to the former Prime Minister and Mayor of Sarrebourg. Comprising two vast sections, youth and adult, the library offers document loans, storytelling hours, literary cafés, workshops, online training courses and more.

In 2017, the Communauté de Communes de Sarrebourg-Moselle Sud merged with the Communautés de Communes de la Vallée de la Bièvre, de l'Étang du Stock, du Pays des Étangs and des 2 Sarres. This intercommunality groups together 76 communes and 46,671 inhabitants. The CCSMS has a wide range of responsibilities. These include tourism, economic development and waste collection and treatment, as well as the environment and roads.
