DÉFILÉ DE LA SAINT-NICOLAS

Each year, the city of Verdun organises the St. Nicholas Parade, a traditional Lorraine tradition in every city in the region. All children, accompanied by their parents, then gather on the banks of the Meuse in order to admire the procession and chariot of the patron of the Lorraine, which was, according to legend, the protector of children. A magical parade always very popular to start the year-end celebrations.
