Museum showing the evolution of brewing traditions and methods from their origins (12,000 years ago) to the present day

The Musée de la Bière is housed in the former food store of the Stenay citadel, which was converted into a malt factory in the 19th century. In six sequences and 2,500m2 of exhibition space, you'll discover the history of the building and the evolution of brewing traditions and methods from their origins (12,000 years ago) to the present day. The visit culminates in a room devoted to advertising and posters, revealing how the art of advertising has served the brewers. At the end of the tour, head to the Taverne for a tasting session.

musée très interessant
La visite est faite par un passionné, c'est super, il nous fait vraiment découvrir la bière sous un autre aspect. Ce musée est une richesse du nord meusien qu'il faut absolument faire découvrir, vous ne serez pas déçus

La bière dans tous ses états
Le musée de la bière à Stenay, au Nord-Est de la Meuse. Ce musée est grand, on remonte l'historique de la bière depuis l'antiquité. La guide , très passionnée connaît très bien son sujet. La visite se termine par la dégustation de 3 bières: une blanche, une blonde, une brune. On peut manger sur place à la taverne. Un repas cuisiné à la bière bien sûr.
