The farm, which has been in existence for 24 years, promotes conservation agriculture and organic farming. It also micro-malts cereals on the farm and uses Gaize water and hops from natural riverbanks. Despite its small size, the farm strives to give new meaning to "small initiatives" and to share the enthusiasm of the adventurers who settled in the Argonne a few centuries ago. The "Rare et Courtoise" brand defends the values of the great Argonne PNR project. The brewery offers local production of less than 1,000 liters per month, and the malt house is also open to the public.
