Chapel where the late representatives of the Ovalie are honored, with 4 atypical stained glass windows, including the Virgin at the scrum
Discover the chapel of 185 rugby shirts, where the late representatives of the sport are honored. Built in 1861 on the site of an ancient Roman oratory, it was partially destroyed. Abbé Devert, a native of the region, initiated the project to restore the chapel following the deaths of three young rugby players. Four atypical stained-glass windows illuminate the chapel: the Virgin of the touch, the Virgin of the wounded player, the Virgin of the pilgrims and the Virgin of the scrum.

Entièrement voué au culte du rugby (celui d'antan) avec maillots, dédicaces de joueurs et même des vitraux - superbement païens - qui représentent les différentes phases du jeu.
Elle est perdue au fin fond de la campagne en haut de sa butte à Larrvière, elle est toute petite mais elle dégage, même pour les athées ou non amateurs de rugby, un charme incontestable.
Les donations se sont accumulées au fil des années. La chapelle n'y suffisant plus, la mairie a construit juste en face une annexe pour abriter l'impressionnante collection de maillots - souvent dédicacés par les plus grands joueurs - du monde entier. Visite entièrement gratuite bien entendu.
