Artisanal pastry house in Commercy, with a large and beautiful store, hosting master madeleine makers since 1888

The Commercy madeleine was born in the kitchens of King Stanislas around 1750. The pastry house has been home to master madeleine makers since 1882. Although the famous madeleine is no longer produced here (production takes place in the Zone de la Canaire), it remains 100% pure butter. This pretty store is packed with goodies: royal madeleines, plain or gourmet (chocolate, praline, mirabelle plums...) in bags or retro metal tins, Lorraine specialties.

Superbe magasin. Madeleines excellentes.
Dommage pour la boutique qu'une vendeuse qui se reconnaîtra sûrement ne soit pas sympathique comme on pourrait l'attendre. Peut-être faut-il encore payer plus cher pour avoir le sourire.
