Located between the upper castle and the old castle, this square was a former cemetery for beggars and small people until 1765. Following improvements made by the city, it became the current place in 1779. She pays tribute to Don Calmet, historian Lorrain, born in Ménil-la-Horgne, and founder of the College of the Prieuré Priory in 1757. The statue presenting it was replaced in 1994.
