Dating back to 1717, it was here that the old lower courtyard of the castle was installed in the Middle Ages. The square was remodelled under the kingdoms of the Prince of Jacquemin and King Stanislas. Today it offers a magnificent architectural view over the castle and opens from a long straight perspective to the forest of Commercy. By walking around, you can observe the oldest houses in the city and return to the time of the good King Stanislas.
