Graine de Forêt is the first fun and educational discovery center dedicated to the Landes forest, Europe's largest cultivated forest. The museography revolves around six themes: forests of the world, forests of France and the Landes forest, silviculture and forestry trades, the transformation of maritime pine and, finally, the hidden landscapes of the Landes forest and its ordinary and remarkable biodiversity. The tour begins in an 18th-century half-timbered house (the Maison de la découverte), then follows the educational trail through the forest.
