The park is a favourite destination for nature lovers since the Syndicat mixte, which since 1972 has been made up of the department, the Urban Community of Greater Nancy and the commune of Velaine-en-Haye, is assisted by the Office National des Forêts (National Forestry Office). This syndicate is responsible for activities and actions related to the management of infrastructures, such as play and relaxation areas or sports fields. Thus, it puts at your disposal facilities such as: a fitness trail, beach volleyball, basketball, badminton, volleyball, football, walking paths, playgrounds, tables and benches for picnics. He is also in charge of the roads that connect the different spaces together. In addition, there are rooms that can be rented by the general public, works councils, schools, air centres and associations. Two of them have a capacity of 200 and 300 people respectively. For smaller groups, another room with a capacity of 50 people can be used. To eat, there is a restaurant on site: the Calèche. A park like no other where history, nature and fun activities for all ages are concentrated on the same site.

Conçu sur un ancien dépôt de l'armée américaine dont l'histoire est expliquée le long d'un parcours pédagogique , le site propose en dehors de tout les sentiers de randonnées de nombreuses aires de jeux pour enfants et terrains de sports dont certains abrités dans les anciennes infrastructures réaffectées . Également une multitude de clubs aux activités variées ( poneys , accro - branche , VTT , paintball , laser coffee , trempoling , etc...)
