In the Landes region, it's often said that there are as many pastis recipes as there are communes. Recovered by Carol Hofbauer's parents, the recipe from Bouheben's artisanal patisserie has been delighting the inhabitants of Escource, the surrounding area and the "well-informed" for over 25 years. Alongside Carol, her husband Thibault offers shortbread, Basque cakes and Bascarons®, a surprising gluten-free cookie made from sugar, almond powder and egg white. These delicacies can be found at the best retailers in the Landes and Arcachon Basins!
