OUR LADY OF THE ANNUNCIATION CATHEDRAL
Nancy's Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation cathedral, with its impressive dome and 60-meter-long nave.
Listed as a historical monument since 1906, the cathedral, with its impressive dome, was begun in 1703 and completed during the reign of Stanislas. The initial plans were inspired by the Roman church of Sant'Andrea della Valle and were reworked by Jules-Hardouin Mansart and Germain Boffrand. Inside, one walks along a 60-meter-long nave, discovers grilles by Jean Lamour adorning two chapels, before laying eyes on the great organ, renovated in 2012.
