For more than 100 years, the famous Salle Poirel has been a vibrant part of downtown Nancy. A mythical cultural venue in the city since 1888, a visit to this architectural jewel both inside and out is a must. In addition to a 1,000m2 exhibition space dedicated to contemporary art and design, classical, jazz and opera concerts take place throughout the year, as well as comedy and dance shows and various meetings. Key venue of the Nancy Jazz Pulsations festival, it is in October that the hall is most alive.

la salle Poirel: c'est la plus ancienne salle de spectacle de Nancy. Située en plein centre ville, elle accueille des concerts classiques, des humoristes, des chanteurs intimistes, du théâtre. Elle a été rénovée il y a quelques années. Elle ressemble à un théâtre à l'italienne: un parterre, des balcons ouvragés tout autour qui rendent hommage aux poètes et musiciens. les murs sont rosés, des dorures partout. Environ 800 places. Elle me fait penser à une bonbonnière. Le problème: le stationnement quand on vient en soirée.

Ancien théâtre qui propose également une galerie d'exposition. L'endroit est agréable et il est situé au cœur de la ville, juste en face de la gare de Nancy. La salle est charmante et propose une programmation éclectique.
