Cité Radieuse in the forest of Briey for the working class, guided tours including a visit to a model apartment
La Cité Radieuse, designed by Le Corbusier between 1959 and 1961, is a symbol of architectural avant-gardism. Designed for the working class, it features functional duplexes. Following its closure in 1983 in the wake of the steel industry crisis, the building was rehabilitated in the late 1980s and is now fully occupied and managed as a condominium. Guided tours are organized by the association La Première Rue to discover a show apartment.
