BFM LA BASTIDE

Opened a few months after the library of the city centre (in March 1999), this municipal structure offers a public reading policy in the popular neighbourhood of La Bastide. Located in a part of René-Blanchot Elementary School, it proposes over 16 000 m ² of more than 400 documents distributed as follows: a youth space, an adult literature area, a collection of comic books, reviews, magazines and newspapers, and a actualis documentary fund. It is possible to borrow ten documents in all (with a maximum of five periodicals), this annex has a multimedia workshop. School entertainment is also the program.
