CENTRE HOSPITALIER UNIVERSITAIRE DE LIMOGES

The Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Dupuytren 1 is Limoges' main healthcare facility. Founded in 1974 and linked to the University of Limoges, it is the largest in the Limousin region. The CHU has 2,100 beds and offers a wide range of services and medical specialties. The CHU de Limoges has a number of specialized units, including a cancer unit, a biology-pharmacy unit, a thorax-abdomen unit, a neurosciences, head, neck and bone unit, a mother-child unit, a medical clinic unit and a clinical gerontology unit. It also offers emergency services for adults and children.
