Founded in 1972, the French Alpine Club (CAF) in Limoges has approximately 150 members dedicated to climbing, mountaineering and hiking. During the long season, you can start climbing in the artificial wall on the outskirts of Vienna on Friday from (outside). Throughout the year, the appointment is at the sports centre from the Val-de-Vienne in Aixe-sur-Vienne on Tuesday and Friday from 19 a. m. to 22 p. m. for adults or Wednesday from 16 p. m. to 18 p. m. for 8-16 years. A programme of outdoor activities is published at every return. And every week several excursions are organised on the natural sites of Limousin and the Massif Massif. The club also organizes carto-orientation courses. Mountain climbing, ice waterfall, alpine hiking on the weekend or a few days during the holidays. The club provides the equipment. The coaching is serious and ultra-comptétent. Each year long courses are organised (Pyrennées, Italy, China…).
