This sensitive protected area was formed during the last ice age. Typical of the Landes landscape before the planting of maritime pines, today these are small, rare bodies of water that offer ecological interest thanks to their particular flora and fauna. These spaces between land and water are home to carnivorous plants such as the drosera. We invite you to follow the 4.5 km interpretation trail, signposted to help you understand the particular features of this now-preserved wetland.
