HOLY CROSS CHURCH
This church was built in the 13th century by one of the Viscounts of Aubusson to protect a fragment of the cross of Christ
Erected in the 13th century by one of the Viscounts of Aubusson to protect a fragment of the cross of Christ, this church was square in plan and of Romanesque style. It was largely remodelled between the 17th and 19th centuries. Its present form consists of a three-nave nave without a transept. Its decorations are particularly noteworthy. Take the time to contemplate its 18th century tapestries, its stained glass windows, notably that of the martyrdom of Saint Barbe, the patron saint of lissiers, as well as its beautiful oak organ made by Gérald Guillemin in the 1980s. Its beautiful sonority allows concerts of religious music.
