Copious cuisine in a restaurant with terrace in Turenne.
Straight out of the past, this restaurant seems unchanged since the time of the Viscounty of Turenne when the market hall was still standing in the square. As for the owner, straight from Holland, his singing accent accentuates an already warm welcome. He works with local products, which he adapts in his own way, as if he were cooking his Dutch stew. At the table, you will have the choice between the Menu du marché, simple, affordable and consistent; the Gourmandise, even more copious and, as its name suggests, more gourmet, with, among other specialties, a braised sweetbread with morel mushrooms in curry sauce. The Chef has a speciality in terms of desserts: the apple crumble, but you should know that the walnut tart is not bad either! In summer a large terrace allows you to dine with music and in winter, you can enjoy your meal under the crackling of the fireplace.
