Church located in the heart of the village which is distinguished by its surprising architecture in Meyssac
A jewel of red sandstone rises in the heart of the village: the church of Saint-Vincent (patron saint of winegrowers) which stands out for its surprising architecture. Of Romanesque origin, it was rebuilt after the Hundred Years' War and the Wars of Religion, with a wide portal, a fortified bell tower dressed with a wooden hoop in the manner of fortified castles, loopholes and cannoniers on the west side and a bypass on the south side. The white limestone reliefs contrast with the red sandstone used for the main structure. Modern orange-red stained glass windows light up the interior of the church.
