Beachside restaurant with terrace offering a menu of fresh market and homemade products, a skewer.
Vincent Arias is the head of this beachfront restaurant, which is not a tourist trap. Far from it.... It is open all year round and it values its reputation. We love the terrace where we are rocked by the sound of the ocean, right in front of us. Inside, a warm bistro decoration with a wood stove lit in winter. On the menu, you will find a simple cuisine prepared by a chef who works with fresh market produce and everything is homemade with only 4 starters to choose from and four main courses (two sea side and two land side)! Please note that the market menu, served even on Saturday lunchtime, changes every day. On the day of our visit, he served a herring salad with warm, melt-in-the-mouth potatoes or a butternut soup (excellent) and then a ray wing with parsley or a veal brochette with mustard sauce. To finish a large slice of apple pie or a cup of 2 scoops of ice cream and whipped cream. Nothing to say about value for money.

Un restaurant à ne pas manquer si vous passez par Montalivet...
En allant sur le site du restaurant, je me suis aperçu que les horaires étaient 19h/20h30. Pour un restaurant qui à un cadre très sympa, pour un weekend fermer la cuisine à 20h30 est très regrettable car les personnes comme nous qui avons des horaires de travail non définis, cela sera compliqué d'y retourner. Sinon les plats sont excellents.

L’accueil est impeccable, décontracté, la salle est sympa et on s’y sent à l’aise,
La prise de commande est rapide, le service réactif.
Les plats: nous avons fais beaucoup de restaurant dans le coins, mais j’ai rarement aussi bien mangé. De l’entré au dessert vous êtes dans un voyage de saveurs qui sont parfaites. Le ou la chef est très bon ! Les quantités sont parfaitement maîtrisé, ni trop peu, ni trop, on fini sont assiette en ayant bien mangé.
Nous seulement le fait que ce soit un des seul restaurant ouvert en basse saison dans notre médoc, respect, au moins on respecte les locaux qui y vivent toute l’année. Mais en plus un restaurant aussi délicieux, chapeau ! Nous y reviendrons c’est certains.
Les 5 étoiles sont largement mérités !
