LE CHENE VERT ^{* *}

I surprised by this very good opinion of this hotel. We stayed here 1 night in August 2012. The exterior of the building was pretty, but the rest. We had a room on the 3rd floor without elevator, correct but nothing more. The room was outdated and could be refreshed and seemed clean. The bathroom was small for a triple room, and especially felt very bad because of the smell of the toilet. Not very well isolated, intended to whirr in the room next door. It was very hot but impossible to open the window because of the noise of traffic on the avenue. For security the only emergency exit is the staircase, in case of fire, not summit. We had booked a room at €60 by means of contact hotel, and it was charged us €65 because rates changed meanwhile! Breakfast is very good indeed and is served in a room which it was renovated, there is also a special rate for children. The cuisine of the restaurant is good and cheerful service. Parking is tiny, it was the, we had to opposite us park street, it is paying, and there is no pedestrian passage (a bit dangerous). that passes for a night in panne service, but nothing more, especially for the price.
