Since 1999, the École du Chat Libre de Bordeaux has been taking care of abandoned felines. This association, which is made up of volunteers only, has several missions: sterilizing stray cats, rehabilitating the less wild ones in foster families and offering tamed cats for adoption. You can help by making tax-deductible donations (the association has been recognised as being in the general interest since 2007), in money, equipment or food. Would you like to participate? Become a volunteer foster family by taking animals recovered from the street into your home. Every month, adoption days are organised: don't hesitate to consult their website for the dates.
