El Mediator is THE concert hall of the Théâtre de l'Archipel. With a capacity of 900 people, this place in Perpignan is a reference for all music lovers. Throughout the year, this venue offers an eclectic program. The great artists of the current musical scene rub shoulders with emerging groups or "discovery", always in a spirit of conviviality and exchange with the public. Free concerts, "Free Thursdays", "Jam Sessions" and artist exhibitions punctuate the concert season.

In the heart of the city centre, a stone's throw from the Castillet, this superb restored building has always been a cinema since 1911, when it was founded. This complex has 1,700 seats in 7 rooms all equipped with Dolby floors. For an art house cinema, the "Castillet" as it is called here has a very eclectic programme and also proposes films freshly released in theatres, and often in V.O. This cinema, which immediately reminds us of Eddy Mitchell's "La Dernière Séance", will astonish more than one by its modernity and its theme evenings.

All the arts of the performing world are represented: theatre, dance, circus, classical music, contemporary music, world music, digital art, etc. It can accommodate a total of 1,500 spectators. Le Grenat is a large, modular theatre with seating for 600 to 1,100 people; Le Carré, also a modular theatre, can accommodate 400 people. Since its creation in 1962, the film club has come a long way and now has the status of a cultural centre. In the Marcel-Oms room, about 20 films are shown every quarter, often followed by rich and constructive debates on the relationship between the film and its time. The Institut Jean-Vigo is currently the only permanent French centre for animation and film research with an associative structure.

It is in the heart of Perpignan, in the middle of a park, that the Palais des Congrès stands. In addition to hosting congresses, it is a real cultural center, with shows, concerts, art exhibitions, sports and other events, festivals and conferences throughout the year. The calendar of events is very eclectic, from the exhibitions at the Palais des Congrès, from Visa pour l'Image, in September, to the Salon International des Arts Plastiques in July.
