In the heart of the city centre, a stone's throw from the Castillet, this superb restored building has always been a cinema since 1911, when it was founded. This complex has 1,700 seats in 7 rooms all equipped with Dolby floors. For an art house cinema, the "Castillet" as it is called here has a very eclectic programme and also proposes films freshly released in theatres, and often in V.O. This cinema, which immediately reminds us of Eddy Mitchell's "La Dernière Séance", will astonish more than one by its modernity and its theme evenings.

All the arts of the performing world are represented: theatre, dance, circus, classical music, contemporary music, world music, digital art, etc. It can accommodate a total of 1,500 spectators. Le Grenat is a large, modular theatre with seating for 600 to 1,100 people; Le Carré, also a modular theatre, can accommodate 400 people. Since its creation in 1962, the film club has come a long way and now has the status of a cultural centre. In the Marcel-Oms room, about 20 films are shown every quarter, often followed by rich and constructive debates on the relationship between the film and its time. The Institut Jean-Vigo is currently the only permanent French centre for animation and film research with an associative structure.

This new restaurant and cocktail bar with its original setting inspired by the Paris of the Roaring Twenties quickly caught our eye. Gone are the traditional tapas, replaced by a cuisine inspired by the South and steeped in Parisian life. On paper, it doesn't look like much, but in the mouth, we love it. The place is really worth the detour, the atmosphere is fresh without being immature. It's an ideal place for aperitifs with friends, afterwork parties and so on. The team is young and full of ideas. Special mention for the selection of local wines and the presentation of the dishes.

Easywintraining Games is an association of board games and fun activities. It offers playful animations, atmospheric games, board games, strategy games, role playing games and traditional games. The members meet in a vast space of 100 m² or a small more intimate room. Throughout the year, themed evenings are organized, fun and friendly tournaments. A charming tea room located in a pretty patio next to the new Rigaud museum. Teas on the menu, green, red, white, black, smoked or iced with subtle blends whose compositions I will not mention. If you prefer a coffee, don't worry, it would take too long to mention everything. You prefer chocolate, and how do you like it? Viennese, Liégeois, hot with spices or iced? Welcome to one of the oldest districts of Perpignan. Welcome to the Divine Comedy, a former convent where today they serve you asses! The speciality of the house.
