Read moreIn the heart of the city centre, a stone's throw from the Castillet, this superb restored building has always been a cinema since 1911, when it was founded. This complex has 1,700 seats in 7 rooms all equipped with Dolby floors. For an art house cinema, the "Castillet" as it is called here has a very eclectic programme and also proposes films freshly released in theatres, and often in V.O. This cinema, which immediately reminds us of Eddy Mitchell's "La Dernière Séance", will astonish more than one by its modernity and its theme evenings.

Read moreSince its creation in 1962, the film club has come a long way and now has the status of a cultural centre. In the Marcel-Oms room, about 20 films are shown every quarter, often followed by rich and constructive debates on the relationship between the film and its time. The Institut Jean-Vigo is currently the only permanent French centre for animation and film research with an associative structure.
