Situated in the heart of the Madres Coronat Natura 2000 site, at an altitude of 1870 m, the Col del Torn refuge is an authentic, peaceful gem with panoramic views of the Capcir mountains. The access trail is closed in summer, so allow around 1 hour's flat walking from the Col de Creu. This refuge is not only the ideal place to reconnect with nature, it's also a place to meet and exchange ideas around a table that's always well stocked. The new janitor, Léonie, is a real dynamo! Also open in winter, it can be reached on snowshoes or skis.
