Things to see and do Les Cluses

The town of Cluses is located in the average Arve valley, the river to the Rhone in Geneva. It has two major assets. The first is historic: it is the perfect conversion of the clock and watch industry to undercutting (see absolutely the clocks and Undercutting) - machining in large series of industrial rooms. The second is its location: Cluses is a good starting base for five stations of the grand massif: Flaine, Le Praz-de-Lys, Carroz-in Araches, Morillon and Samoëns. A summer event not to be missed: Music in stock, which offer contemporary music to us, rock with the blues. Some figures: 5 hotels, 29 restaurants and 350 shops. It is a pleasant city with its traces of the past: the old bridge, the town hall, the place of Allobroges and its fountain of the 18th century... You walk on the banks of the Arve from the tourism Office to Lake Thyez or one is a small hiking. Cluses does not lack attractions!
