Just 10 minutes from Collioure and Spain, L'Oliu (pronounced o-li-ou) is an ideal base between sea and mountains. Myriam and Patrice warmly welcome you to their single-storey gîte, set in a separate wing of their elegant home. South-facing and nestled among evergreen oaks and olive trees, this contemporary gîte with its sober, meticulous decor features a vast, bright living room equipped with modern amenities (flat-screen TV, wi-fi connection, etc.), a well-equipped open-plan kitchen, a lovely bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet. With the first rays of sunshine, you can relax on the private terrace, and in fine weather, the swimming pool (shared with the owners) is a welcome refresher. Myriam and Patrice will be happy to recommend small-scale producers in their native Catalan hinterland.

After a small week (07) 4/12/12 last in Oliu, we can allocate large Triple AAA Myriam and Patrice for their Welcome, Friendly and their Love to satisfy their Guests as well as possible. Everything is perfect, spacious room and very comfortable, small copious and varied lunch and everything in a beautiful green environment and very well... Careful: remember to put your alarm clock, because there is such a quiet that you would be lucky enough to wake up late for beautiful morning walks... (But there will be nice smell coffee...) Finally that happiness batteries in a very beautiful place. Visiting this region, a stop is essential on Oliu, you will not be disappointed. Still thank you Myriam (J.Jacques & Pink ALBI)

The description of sly little minx is exact throughout point but can not make the pleasure and atmosphere of the breakfast " in famille" with other guests. It also " goûter" pleasure long conversations in the morning on the region, its products, beauties...
It is impossible not to go back a day, it is what confirmed us a couple of patrons.
