Atypical garden designed around the themes of the river and the mysterious lamprey in Sainte-Terre.

A self-guided tour of this atypical botanical garden will help you appreciate the vegetation and the themes of the river and this 450-million-year-old aquatic animal. In fact, did you know that Sainte-Terre was the capital of the lamprey? A documentary and animated films about this mysterious lamprey are shown in the exhibition room. Ask for the program at the Tourist Office to find out what's on. The garden is open to the public every day from 8am to 6.30pm.

small park. to discover the lamprey was brilliant for my children who discovered this animal " bizarre" and very interesting from a view point adult. there is even in an aquarium. We ask questions and the person answered it, even put us a documentary film. it should however be said that it is free and it is rare today.
Small park, the welcome is somewhat limited, received better when you come with a group. That is not normal. I did not have any explanation on the lamprey. Avoid.
