Hiking Mende

Top start at the spa resort of Bagnols-les-Bains. This hike of some 8 kilometres will lead you first to the village of Saint-Julien-du-Tournel, where the loop begins to take you to the awaited castle of the Tournel. It is the trail No. 15 of the Guide Guide Trail and its surrounding area (reference P 481). At the beginning of the sport of the sportif of the Causse de Mende, this pédestre loop brings you back to the pastoral life of the last century. As you go down, on a quiet and without difficulty path, you cross the dead villages of Gerbal and Chaumette. Always follow the pine apple of the NFB markup: you will return to your starting point after two hours of walking.
