Aquatic farm located approximately 200 meters after the Saint-Vivien channel lock, on the site of former salt marshes

It is about two hundred meters after the lock of the channel of Saint-Vivien and on the site of former salt marshes that was installed in the 1980s, this original aquatic farm on 17 hectares of marshes and fish ponds. Here it is gambas that are raised for the pleasure of all gourmets. But there are also local shrimps, clams, winkles and whelks. The good educational and gourmet plan: the guided tour followed by a tasting. Sale of products on the spot and on the local markets.

Opening time and information on WATER-MEDOC AQUACULTURE FARM

Closed in January. Open from July 1st to September 30th from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 3.30pm to 7pm every day. From November to end of June Friday from 3pm to 6pm and Saturday from 9.30am to 12pm and from 3pm to 6pm. Adult: €5 (visit and tasting in summer, Tuesday in the end of the day or Thursday morning and by appointment off-season). Product sales on the premises and on the local markets.
