The psychiatric hospital of La Colombière was founded in 1906 and has been attached to the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Montpellier since 1928. The hospital provides different types of care, from prevention to diagnosis, care and rehabilitation. The institution is composed of medical-psychological centres, part-time reception centres, part-time hospitalisation units, home-based or substitute home-based hospitalisation units, full-time hospitalisation units and intersectoral units for adults.
