Sandwich loaves, rustic breads, party breads, savory and sweet tarts and puff pastries, sandwiches, party cakes, entremets, vacherins glacés, macaroons, viennoiseries (including a praline brioche so delicious it's well worth the detour). Didier Marcellin is an artisan baker, chocolatier, ice-cream maker and confectioner like his father, whose family patisserie he took over in Saint-Symphorien-de-Lay, near Roanne. He chose to settle in the south of France. And so much the better for us. A benchmark.
