Breads of all kinds! Soft breads, rustic breads, holiday breads, savoury and sweet tarts and puff pastries, sandwiches, evening cakes, desserts, iced vacherins, macaroons, pastries (including a praline brioche so tasty that you'll have to make a detour). Didier Marcellin is an artisan baker, chocolatier, ice-cream maker and confectioner like his father, from whom he took over the family pastry shop in Saint-Symphorien-de-Lay, near Roanne. He chose to settle down in the south. And that's good for us.

Boulangerie Pâtisserie authentique comme le village où elle se situe, Le choix est plus que varié et de qualité ! des viennoiseries au salé, des petits fours aux pâtisseries tant créatives que traditionnelles, nous nous sommes régalés ! en particulier avec les macarons : moelleux et savoureux avec plus de 10 parfums au choix ! Tout fait envie ! nos yeux ne savaient où regarder tant la boutique était bien achalandée ! Nous y retournerons bien volontiers pour une pause goûter sur la petite terrasse devant la boutique ;)

Nous avons découvert cette pâtisserie grâce au guide Petit Futé lors d'une balade à Villeneuve et nous validons : les viennoiseries et les petits gâteaux sont top ! Ni gras, ni trop sucrés, on s'est régalé !
