Restaurant with terrace in the heart of Villeneuve offering a bistro brasserie menu

Eggplant is, in the heart of Villeneuve, a friendly place to share. Eggplant is unanimously appreciated by the locals who have made it their canteen. Inside, the decoration is a bit precious with its taupe eggplant walls and its Gustavian style furniture. The imposing zinc, inherited from the previous bar, is still at the heart of the establishment. As soon as the weather is nice, we love the well-shaded terrace which spreads out on the Place. The bistro brasserie menu follows the seasons, grilled or simmered vegetables and meats, fish of the moment, salad meals.

Food, service and atmosphere were quite good for the price but on the negative side, I would say the table we were given was very small and located in a corner next to the stairs and a shelve for cutlery and napkins.
On the positive side, dogs are allowed inside, so you can bring your four legged friend with you.

La nourriture, le service et l'ambiance étaient plutôt bons pour le prix, mais du côté négatif, je dirais que la table qu'on nous a donnée était très petite et située dans un coin à côté des escaliers et d'une étagère pour les couverts et les serviettes.
Du côté positif, les chiens sont autorisés à l'intérieur, vous pouvez donc emmener votre ami à quatre pattes avec vous.

Je découvre les avis négatifs laissés et n'en comprends absolument pas la cause. Nous y allons régulièrement été comme hiver et chaque fois nous et les personnes que nous y amenons, sommes enchantés (le burger végétarien par exemple est LA référence dans son domaine!). Je recommande en toute confiance
