Sixty pitches for tents or caravans are available in this shady campsite. Right in the heart of Sommières, on the banks of the Vidourle, this two-star municipal campsite is open from April 1 to September 30. Correct rates, correct services. The campsite is located right next to the town's sports facilities. The Saturday morning market is just a stone's throw away. Camping at Le Garanel means discovering the Tiberius Bridge and the town of Sommières, which has the particularity of being built directly on the thirteen arches (now buried in concrete) of the ancient bridge.

We turned up after reception had closed but the owner? Still came down and was very happy to help us find a spot. So helpful. The site is very nice and spacious. Facilities are good and clean. We have book marked this site to come back to as the town looks very interesting. Amazing how you find such gems of sites by chance. Would definitely recommend this site. It's friendly sites like this that make it a pleasure to tour France.
