«The dream has become reality, I am in the vineyard to make you happy. " Madeleine and Jacques Philippe do their dream of becoming winemakers by buying this young area in 2000. The couple combine various plots into Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot and petit pour to give birth to 10 hectares of vines classified as high-médoc. Thanks to his skills as an engineer in Arts and Crafts, and to that of his team, Jacques Philippe brings the motto of the Devise Castle to the prestigious rank of the bourgeois crus in 2003. The efforts were rewarded in 2011 by a victory of the castle at the cutting of the Bourgeois Crus before 167 vintages. Work for more than ten years recognized by the great wine names.
