This gourmet restaurant located in the charming village of Saint-Jean de Blaignac, near Saint-Emilion, is run by Manuela and Thomas L'Hérisson. The couple has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant business and their expertise was awarded a Michelin star in 2014. This expertise can be felt on the plate: beef cheek effiloché with truffles; roasted pigeon supreme, the crispy-melting leg, small pan-fried blood sausage; mocha candied banana, rolled cookie and smoked namelaka, mucilage juice gel, coffee-cardamom ice cream.

Très agréable endroit où l'on nous sert de belles assiettes très raffinées avec de beaux mélanges de saveurs toutes les assiettes nous ont fait travailler les papilles avec finesse

Une table à la fois classique et moderne dans un cadre de rêve. La carte des vins est pléthorique et les prix très doux. Au menu, huitre travaillée à la perfection et un lièvre à la Royale comme dans les livres. Une merveille. En plus la patronne qui est dans la salle est top sympa. Une très bonne adresse à deux pas de Saint Emilion.

I wish I liked the restaurant. Came recommended - obviously our tastes are not the same. Food had no flavor. Points for presentation but not taste. Apparently they had a Michelin star but lost it.
