The area is completely wildfires when in 1977 Stéphan Motut buys Reignac Castle, he works to replant 11 ha of vines in three years. As a trade pépiniériste, it produces the necessary seed itself. The Motut family also has two other vineyards: Château Bel Air Laclotte (owner's birthplace) and Castle Gemini dating back to 1769. These three properties stretch over a total of 108 hectares and produce 200 000 bottles each year. A small part of the wine is aged 8 to 12 months in French oak barrels nine for custodial wines and good wines. The relentless effort towards quality has been rewarded for 3 years by Gold and silver medals at the various competitions in Paris and Bordeaux.
