From Anduze station to Saint-Jean-du-Gard (or vice versa), passing through La Bambouseraie, this tortillard offers a 13 km journey through the heart of the Cévennes Piedmont, between bridges and tunnels, over the Gardon river. A tourist journey punctuated by the legendary teuf-teuf of this machine from another age, tossed about in panoramic wagons in the open air. Special events are sometimes held on board, as well as escape games. A popular way to take in the scenery.

Quality Sud de France. Tourism & Handicap label. Open from April 6 to October 31, 2025. From July 15 to August 28: open every day and on public holidays. Free for children under 4. Return adult ticket: €17.50 (one-way ticket: €13.50). Children (aged 4 to 12): €13 (one-way: €11). Dogs and bicycles €4 return. Family package from €57.

The train takes you on a journey of discovery through the Cévennes and the diversity of its landscapes. Throughout the journey, admire the valleys, forests and rivers, crossing viaducts and tunnels in the heart of verdant nature.
A stop along the way can be made to visit the Bambouseraie.

L'idéal est de réserver ses billets sur internet afin de les récupérer à la borne de la gare sans faire la queue.
Cette ballade est un vrai bonheur, qui vous replonge dans l'ancien temps. En arrivant un peu avant le départ, vous pouvez assister au remplissage en eau de la loco, avant qu'elle ne s'élance sur les rails pour un parcours authentique en pleine nature. Sympa ++++ pour petits et grands. En ce qui nous concerne, nous avons pris le train à st Jean du Gard, pour aller à la bambouseraie (compter quasi 1/2 journée de visite.)
