From Anduze station to Saint-Jean-du-Gard (or vice versa), passing through La Bambouseraie, this tortillard offers a 13 km journey through the heart of the Cévennes Piedmont, between bridges and tunnels, over the Gardon river. A tourist journey punctuated by the legendary teuf-teuf of this machine from another age, tossed about in panoramic wagons in the open air. Special events are sometimes held on board, as well as escape games. A popular way to take in the scenery.

Quality Sud de France. Tourism & Handicap label. Open from April 6 to October 31, 2025. From July 15 to August 28: open every day and on public holidays. Free for children under 4. Return adult ticket: €17.50 (one-way ticket: €13.50). Children (aged 4 to 12): €13 (one-way: €11). Dogs and bicycles €4 return. Family package from €57.

A stop along the way can be made to visit the Bambouseraie.

C'est une activité quand même onéreuse pour toute une famille
Le voyage complet dur une 40aines de minutes.
Je ne sais pas vraiment comment fonctionne la machinerie des train mais le terme à "vapeur" et un peu marketing, car je suis sur et certain que le train ne tourne pas au charbon et à l'eau, tellement qu'une odeur de diesel s'en dégage, et qui peut être assez désagréable surtout dans la partie du tunnel.
Mise à part ça la ballade est vraiment très agréable et ravira petits est grands.
Des wagon ouverts ou fermé sont disponibles selon vos préférences.
