The Nougalet chocolate and confectionery factory welcomes you to its 6,000 m² factory dedicated to gourmet delights. Much more than just a chocolate factory, Nougalet has been renowned for its exceptional expertise for over half a century. Here, raw materials are rigorously selected for our greatest pleasure. Nougalet is also an experience: during your visit, you can admire the precise gestures of the craftsmen at work. New for 2024: the Bar à Chocolat opens its doors to you for a (very) gourmet break!

In the tea room or in the cookie shop, discover a farandole of homemade delights based on family recipes. Shortbread, in a wide range of flavors, rubs shoulders with meringues, oreillettes, and La Belle Aude ice cream in summer. If the croustade has its success, the star is undoubtedly the "poumpet". This speciality of the Tarn is revisited here: its puff pastry contains a homemade apple compote, a lemon cream, with a topping of the same citrus fruit caramelized during cooking.

Dominique and Jean Bardou opened their store on the banks of the Canal du Midi, but their 4,200 olive trees, 16 hectares of trees planted in 1957, with varieties of lucques, moncita, picholine and olive tree, are located 25 km away. Jean takes pleasure in making people taste his preparations, giving tours of the mill, as well as looking for original containers for his oils. Enjoy an initiation by appointment and finish with a tasting of the wines of the domain. They also offer cosmetics made from their olive oil, go and discover them quickly!

Welcome to the farm ! Welcome to the house of the lock! On the banks of the Canal du Midi, the Confiturerie de l'Écluse makes delicacies with fruits and vegetables produced and transformed on site according to original recipes. For example, melon jam with cinnamon or watermelon/lemon, onion jam, elderflower, thyme and rosemary. So many sunny flavors of the Aude declined in 25 jams and a dozen jams. Sales also of cassoulets, honeys, wines.
