The chocolaterie-confiserie offers an immersive experience in the gourmet world of chocolate and an open-access boutique
The Nougalet chocolate and confectionery factory opens its doors to give you a behind-the-scenes look at how chocolate is made. Self-guided or guided tours (by appointment) begin with a short film retracing the chocolate factory's 50-year history, followed by a visit to the gallery and its workshops, where you'll experience first-hand the making of the company's specialities: chocolates, caramels, old-fashioned sweets, macaroni, lollipops... At the end of the tour, you can indulge your sweet tooth in the superb boutique, where everything appeals.

Created in 1951 and located in Trèbes, the Chocolaterie Nougalet is one of the oldest in the Aude. It offers in its store various creations adapted to the evolution of tastes and desires of chocolate lovers. Its pralines made with almonds from a small cooperative in Murcia, Spain, and hazelnuts from Avellino, Italy, will certainly not leave you indifferent. At Nougalet, you will also find a nice selection of confectionery and macaroni made in a traditional way. These are offered individually or in boxes. Here, you will also be able to observe the different stages of the conception of your gourmet treasures. You will dive into the chocolate world of Nougalet while making beautiful discoveries.
