Built in 1620, the family estates of the Château de Pennautier covering 200 ha are rich in history linked to the recognition of its wines, long served at the court. Thanks to Nicolas and Miren de Lorgeril, this Cabardès has a deep garnet colour, a blackcurrant and garrigue nose, both powerful and deep. The cellar combines modern winemaking techniques with the naturalness of a winemaker's architecture. The store offers many local products, and you can also discover the wines of the property during a tasting.

Had a great guided wine tasting followed by a delicious 3 course meal in the restaurant. Very friendly and efficient service, and the Chateau gardens are lovely. Make sure that you leave time to visit them.

This app says the Chateau was open today ( Sat 17th May)with higher than normal visitors! It was actually closed, so please be wary of what this app is telling you.

Très beau château et parc superbement entretenu.un vrai petit Versailles méconnu. Visite du parc gratuit et visite du château période estivale pour 10€
