The Horreum reveals a maze of underground galleries from Roman times, which formed the foundations of a market or goods warehouse. Preserved almost in its entirety, the Horreum is located in the heart of the city. Its construction dates back to the ^1st century BC, when Narbonne was the capital of the province of Narbonnaise Gaul. The Horreum is a member of the Narbo Via Public Cooperative Establishment (EPCC), which brings together two other sites dedicated to the Roman history of Narbonne: the Narbo Via Museum and the Amphoralis site-museum.

Opening time and information on THE HORREUM

Open all year round. Closed January 1, May 1 and December 25. May to September, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm. October to April 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm. Free admission for under-26s, recipients of minimum social benefits, minimum old-age pension, asylum-seekers, holders of the press card for guide-lecturers or ICOM and ICOMOS cards. Free admission for teachers preparing a visit by prior arrangement, and for disabled people and their companions on presentation of the CMI card. Adults: €5 (with guided tour, €2 extra). Groups (10 people): €4. 3-site pass (including Narbo Via museum and Amphoralis): €15. Free admission for all on the first Sunday of every month and during national events. Children welcome. Guided tours. Gift store. Animations.
