Want to discover Narbonne in a fun way? Become a treasure hunter! With the help of clues in the boxes, discover the narrow streets and monuments of the historic center in exciting treasure hunts. For little adventurers aged 4 to 8, Bébé Matagot, the latest member of this family of wizard cats, is asking for your help... Preferring to watch butterflies rather than listen to advice and observe his future teachers at the school of animal magicians, our wizard cat fears he'll no longer recognize them. With no way out, he's asking you to help him find them by following clues around town. If you find them, he'll thank you! As for you older "Hunters", it's Daddy Matagot, the famous wizard cat, kind and generous to those who help him but cursing those who harm him, who puts you to the test. If you find his secret, you'll get a share of his treasure! For children over 10, a journey into the past... 2000 years ago, Kevinus, a young Roman, and his sister discovered a genie at the bottom of a strange amphora. The genie offered the boy 3 wishes, from which he chose to explore the future, with no thought of returning! His sister panicked and rubbed the amphora to call the genie back, but to no avail. She found herself in despair until a Treasure Hunter box appeared. The very box that will allow you to send Kevinus back to the time of Narbo Marcius! Tours last from 1h to 1h45 in the streets of Narbonne, with routes of around 1.5 km!

Treasure hunts in Occitania - Unusual visits
Come and discover our treasure hunts for the whole family. We have several in the Occitanie region (Gruissan, Collioure, Albi, Fontfroide, Peyrepertuse, Montpellier, Béziers...) and in Narbonne, we have 3 treasure hunts that you can do on your own, depending on your level:
- a special "Bébé Matagot et l'école des sorciers" for toddlers aged 4/8, 16€. This hunt is also available in Spanish.
- one for families aged 7 and over, "Le trésor du Matagot", 13€
- a slightly harder one for teens/adults, "The genius of the amphora", 16€. Also available in English, Spanish and Occitan.
Our treasure hunts last between 1h and 1h45 depending on the box chosen, and can be purchased at the Narbonne Tourist Office. You'll visit the city's most important landmarks, as well as its lesser-known backstreets.
Be sure to check the office opening times before you leave, and also their closing times, so that you can collect your collectible badge at the end of the game.
